Much Canine Carousing, 2014

Dear readers, though my dear and wonderful little Vulpe is a Romanian street dog of no known date of birth, when we went to collect her from the rescue organisation on 2nd September 2012 at around 4 months old, we decided that 2nd May would be her birthday from then on. When she was 1,…

Homemade Gluten Free Dog Food

Ever since Vulpe came to us I’ve been itching to make a big ol’ batch of homemade food – and see if she likes it! For a while now I’ve been adding brown rice, quinoa, sweet potato, etc to her kibble, but I wanted to make a super healthy food that I can portion out…

Meet V Dog Boo!

Say hello to Boo! This adorable pooch lives here in the UK with Dorota.¬†Boo is a staffordshire bull terrier/pug/terrier cross, and has been living and eating veggie with Dorota since he was a teeny wee pup! Boo eats Benevo or Ami kibble, and loves his extra veggies! Favourites are peppers, cucumbers, sweet potato and kale.…

Enter Benevo Rumble Strips! When I saw them for sale, I ordered some goodies for Vulpe from Veggie Pets, and she got to give…

Homemade Carrot Treats

Vulpe adores carrot in all its forms! She loves to munch on a bit of raw carrot, and will do almost anything in training for a piece of cooked carrot (she feels the same way about cooked sweet potato). I decided to try and make some cooked carrot treats for her this evening. I made…

Pup Biscuits Success!

My first attempt at poochy biscuits! With carrot, spinach, wholewheat flour, oats, nutritional yeast, pure coconut oil, organic low salt stock and extra virgin olive oil. Since Vulpe is still just under 3 weeks away, I enlisted the help of another little pooch called Lola who gave these the thumbs (paws?) up.
